Glass fiber self-adhesive tape is made of glass fiber mesh cloth as the base material and composite by self-adhesive emulsion. The product is self-adhesive with excellent adhesion and spatial stability. It is ideal for preventing cracks in walls and ceilings in the construction industry.

2. Drying time

General-purpose seam adhesive usually takes 24-48 hours to dry completely. Allow plenty of time to dry before applying additional coatings or moving on to the sanding and finishing stages. This will ensure optimal bonding and a professional finish.

3. Grinding and finishing

 

Q1: Issues to pay attention to when laying mesh fiberglass tape:

A: (1) Inspection and quality inspection standards of the wall. Check whether the wall is flat and the verticality of the wall must meet the national acceptance standard of 2m ruler-4mm. Whether there are hollows, cracks, sanding, etc. on the wall, the plastering layer should last for 15 days and the dryness should be less than 11%.

(2) Turn-over nets should be pasted on all door and window openings and insulation termination parts. The width of the overwrapped net should be determined according to the thickness of the insulation board required for on-site insulation. The width of the net pasted on the wall is greater than 65mm. The width of the net turned over to the board is about 100mm. The throw-out part should be kept clean.

(3) Grinding. After the construction of the insulation board is completed, perform a smooth grinding process on the board surface. Note: Under the premise of normal temperature.

(4) When nailing the insulation board, be careful not to hit the board surface to avoid damage and rework. Keep a 90-degree angle when drilling to avoid distortion and maintain a good depth.

(5) When installing the grid strips, stir the glue and apply it to the area in the groove before installation. The welded mesh must be adhered to. The grid strips should be horizontally aligned with the board surface.

(6) Lay and stick the mesh cloth, make preparations, and clean the wall again. When laying the mesh cloth, pay attention to sticking it from top to bottom; after the laying is completed, check whether the external wall insulation layer is regular and whether the doors and windows are vertical.

A: (1) Use gypsum powder to solidify and fill the gaps.

(2) After the gypsum powder dries, apply white latex (slightly wider than the tape) where the fiberglass mesh tape needs to be pasted.
